Marble Duel is a puzzle game set in a fantasy world where you play an apprentice wizard who has to face the evil servants of a cruel witch. The way you fight these battles is using magic marbles.
The combat system in Marble Duel will be familiar for anyone who's played Zuma or any of its variants before. There are different-colored marbles lining the screen, and your goal is to throw one at them to match three or more of the same color and make them disappear. Depending on their color they have different effects: the red marbles inflict damage to the enemy, the blue ones protect you, the green ones heal, etc.
After your move, it'll be the enemies' turn. Sometimes they throw the same color as you, sometimes they throw others. You have to adapt your strategy to defeat them, depending on which color they use. Each victory gives you experience points, which you can use to improve the effect of your marbles.
Marble Duel is a puzzle game that uses a traditional gameplay like Zuma's, but gives it an interesting and original twist. Apart from that, it adds some role-playing elements, an interesting setting, and beautiful graphics.
